A note from Alex
Hi everyone, this is a quick note to say thanks for reading our entries and following along with our adventures in faith! We’ve both enjoyed having somewhere to record our journey and the steps of faith we have taken, and it’s been great to share it with all of you.
This next period of our lives will be different to what we have experienced over the past nine months and although we look forward to still sharing it with all of you, we expect we might be sending out newsletters slightly less often.
During this year I’ve come to enjoy using Substack and have also had more time than usual to write. I’ve particularly been drawn to write for those who are seeking something more but don’t quite know what it is, sensing a God-shaped hole in their hearts but uninterested in Christianity in the way it is typically presented. C. S. Lewis said The Chronicles of Narnia was his way of “smuggling in Jesus”, so I’m going to make my own attempt to do the same.
Therefore, I’ve set up Waymarkers — my own Substack newsletter/journal where I will be posting fiction, poetry, and essays about things which point toward God, but which are (hopefully) more accessible to those who are still seeking. If you’re interested in knowing more, you can click the link below which gives you a flavour of what I’ll be writing, and you can subscribe to the Waymarkers newsletter to receive posts into your inbox.
There’s no pressure to subscribe to Waymarkers. However, it may be something you can share with friends and family who are curious about the path you’ve chosen to walk down and could use a few signposts to help them find their way in the same direction.
